Meet Your Doctors
Brian L. Vroom DC, DAAPM
Dr. Vroom has been practicing chiropractic care in Gresham for 17 years. His compassionate, heart-felt desire to give the best care possible to his patients is just one of the qualities that make Dr. Vroom stand out in the chiropractic community. He began his Chiropractic career as a patient who received wonderful results when other forms of health care had proven ineffective. After graduating and passing the Oregon Board exams in 1995, Dr. Vroom set up this practice from scratch, beginning as a basement office and becoming a highly advanced technological chiropractic office. The practice was based on quality care and effective patient communications, appropriately leading to what is now Advanced Care Chiropractic.
Dr. Vroom is married to Marnie and they have two kids, Daniel and Sarah. If you ask him what he does he’ll say whatever his staff tells him but we all know that’s not exactly the truth. Dr. Vroom spent 4 years at Texas A&M, 2 years at West Texas State University, tried a year at Baylor Dental School, spent another year at Texas A&M in the doctoral program (Physics), and spent 4 years at Western States Chiropractic College. But his secret ambition is to be a rock n’ roll star just so he can have long hair again. He had done a 1001 things before becoming a chiropractor, including being a professional student, a high school physics teacher, building houses, playing in a country-rock band for a living, and a few things he doesn’t care to remember. If you let him, he will probably tell you a tall tale or two (he IS from Texas after all!). His favorite ice cream is homemade butterfinger and his favorite vacation is at Moon Palace in Cancun under a palapa with a pina colada and his girlfriend/wife. Same thing. His favorite holiday is Christmas. He loves everything traditional about it, especially teaching his children the real meaning of Christmas. He enjoys working at Advanced Care Chiropractic because of the relationships: “Really they are like my family. We laugh a lot, yell some, and care a lot about each other.”
